YEY!! I finally managed to take this duron to 1GHz.
well 997MHz...but hey whats 3MHz between friends

I tried 1045 (110x9.5) but it froze at the winblows 2000 startup and to up the voltage i need to disassemble my case, take the alpha off, pencil in a new voltage etc... (theres no Vcore modifying through my board's bios)

and the 10x and up multipliers are refusing to work with my duron, does this mean that the motherboard is doing something wrong or the duron isnt interpreting them right?

Ah well, for now, i'm happy
Next step: Radeon 7500 (but thats next month, when i get more money)

    welcome to the family...

also, what is the stepping code (4-6 letter code on the die)?

just interested...It'd be a good thing to check when you take off your HSF.
