Cant overclock any more?

Ok I have the intel 2.8c 800fsb 512 l2 cache with hyperthreading overclocked to 3.3.
What I cant understand is that it wont go to 3.4 or higher. Everytime I try to, I get low aquamark and 3dmark03 scores and my comp crashes frequently, and I fail prime95. I have two coolermaster exhuast fans in the back of my case, 1intake fan in the widow blowing just below the cpu heatsink and fan,1 vantec dual 4000rpm fan pci card blowing on my evga 6800, thermaltake spark7 heat sink and fan, at 3000-6000 rpm with articsilver 5, 480 watt thermaltake powersupply with two fans, and a room temperature of about 75f. My idle temps are 37c and max load temp during prime 95 torture test is 57c. I have raised the vcore to 1.65, and still is unstable at 3.4 or higher. I have had the memory at 4/5 but still unstable. This processor should overclock to atleast 3.4 ghz and higher and be stable. Is there something I am missing, or are all processors not created equally?

all processors are not created equally 3.3 is a fairly reasonable OC especally for a northwood

You may have just hit the barrier, but that 57C temp is too high to keep things stable under a decent overclock. I'd say your cooling is to blame for not getting any higher. Though It probably wouldn't be worth changing anything to get the extra 200Mhz.
