| I would like to OC my RAM
I would like to decrease my RAM timings, but I would like to do it with a program, and not in the BIOS because I don't like having to reset my BIOS everytime something goes wrong
So, is there a program that will let you change the memory timings in windows (XP)? |

there is a better way!!!
there is a new harware option available, it slots into a spare dimm slot and alowes you to overclock your ram independently of your mobo, unfortunately the magazine i read about it in, is in work so i can't tell you where to get it from, but if your online here tomorrow i'll look it up and let you know! |

It says A64 family only.
Does that include the Sempron 3100+?? I mean, it IS A64 family, but just don't have 64bit capabilities.
*EDIT*
I just tried it, and it seems to work on my sempron 3100+, so I guess it indeed works on the whole family

I can only do it through the BIOS and my memory benchie score in sandra is only increased by about 30MBs when I go from CAS 3 to CAS 2, and while I was at CAS 2, I couldn't even go over 210MHz FSB stable (although I didn't really try to work on it like increase the voltage take small steps, BTW!!!) |
