Socket 754 CPU fan/heatsink.
What CPU fan/heatsink would you recommend for an athlon 64 2800+ (socket 754)? I picked up a cheapie (12 dollars, says "TR2" on it) when I was putting my computer together but I think I should take care of this processor ....

Any suggestions?

I also have a question. What is the purpose of fan controllers? I can't see myself adjusting the speed of my CPU fan manually ....

Get a heat sink from thermal take, they are the best out there right now. Most people use a fan controller to ajust to speed of their system fans, not really their CPU fan.
