S754 3000 vs. S939 3000

Will the 754 be faster because of the extra 2mhz? What do you think I should get?

get s939 because there are many advantages:
better overclocking
runs cooler
dual channel RAM support

does 939 really run cooler? i wouldnt think so cuz the CPUs are moreless the same as 754 only that they have a built in dual channel controller hence more transistor = more heat and more pins. Theres a nice article about Cpus from 1995-2005 on www.tomshardware.com take a look at it. It tells about s754 and 939.

there are more transistors but you have to remember that it is built on 90nm technology while s754 is 110? or 130nm

Would it help if I said that I would have gotten s939 instead of s754 if I were to upgrade right now instead of 5 months ago?
