| 2800+ Sempron vs. 2800+ XP Barton?  Isnt the XP better? Does the sempron consume less wattage? |

The barton has 640 cache whereas the sempron has 384 like the thorobred it is built after. It is possible that the sempron will run cooler (consume less wattage). There are some charts on the internet somewhere that would tell you that. |

I dont remember well but I believe the best semprom was the 3100+ because its socket 754 and has a better core Paris.... |

If u are buying socket a buy a 2600+mobile , Dont buy any thing else nothing is worth it , dont by a septron and deff dont get a 2800+ the mobiles will them plus use teh least amout of watts
2600+ mobiles do 2.5-2.7 on air cooling
make smart choises before you buy

If all you are doing is web browsing then yes both will act the same, I googled to try and get a benchmark on the two but could not come up with anything. |
