i set it to 2.5 and its at 2,5ghz atm running nicely..
    thnx for the help

EDIT: At 11x240mhz = 2,64ghz my comps keep freezing.. i bumped up the voltage .7V up to 1.47V... is that the problem? should i go higher? I also bumped the ram voltage up by .1V

go higher with the CPU (vcore) voltage, take it to at least 1.55.

set the HTT from x5 down to x2, this will not decrease performance

Like I said, A64s are definitelly NOT the CPUs for FAD, they're for intense multimedia, multitasking, and gaming use, NOT FAD.

Get a good socket A mobo, and OC a 1.8GHz duron to at least 2GHz. Like I said before, FAD could care less if your PR is 5000+, but if the 5000+ is running at 2GHz, a Duron will score just as many points as the 5000+

if you're looking for multiple systems then go with this combo:
    mobo:

    or
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...135-143&depa=1
note that nf2ultra is definitelly better for OCing (IMO)
    CPU 1.8GHz Duron:
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...104-160&depa=1
    and steal this RAM
    http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduc...223-009&depa=1

If you wanna build one of these for your personal use:
    CPU A64 3000+ s939 winnie:
    http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...103-499&depa=1
    MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum:
*** it I forgot about this amazing DFI mobo:

    Vikeor,
My experience with Geil ram is it likes more voltage to imrpove stability, especially when overclocking. I normally (always) run Geil +0.20v over default, and when pushing an overclock, even +0.30v.

Thanks alot, for basic crunchers I can set up several pretty cheap. my personal Ive been looking towards a dual processor, 3phase Ac load calculations are complicated sometimes plus I want one that can handle all games out there. Thanks again, thats some good basic crunchers at a real good price.

recudes the hyper threading link or w/e, which is pretty much useless if it's over 1GHz.... but w/e it gives you a lot more OCing stability when you reduce it
