P4 with 2mb L2 cache.

i just noticed on newegg.com that they have pentium 4s with a 2mb L2 cache i only saw them with a 1mb L2 cache before. How much of a performance difference would doubling the L2 cache make or cache on a processor in general?

if im right i believe they are mobile cpu's.

The pentium m ones do have a 2mb L2 cache but so do many of the pentium 4s now.

Ok in the features it has listed EM64T it is just intels 64 bit technology and with it they released a bigger cache i geuss.

I believe all P4 6xx series have 2MB of L2 in addition to the 64bit extentions
