| Program for mobile's max performance
What's the program that will make my CPU run at full speeds at all times?
Thanks |

I just tried disabling it in the bios and it's still not running at full speed. I'm reading the speed from right clicking on my computer and selectring properties. |

You do know that it automatically steps the speed up when it is running something that needs the extra power right? |

When I'm encoding a movie it runs at like 500mhz when it's a 2.4ghz processor. Even when the computer is lagging really bad it will only go up to about 1.2ghz. |

Is your battery power low, because I think it might do that if it doesn't have much power(for extra time). |

No, it's on A/C all the time. I remember seeing a program for windows that made the mobile processor run at max speed all the time. It's strange that changing the bios option didn't help it. |

I thought I saw something about making it run at full speed to, but I have no idea where anymore, I guess I should have payed more attention to it...but didn't think of that, since I don't have a laptop. |

So that's probably why my 2.4 ghz was still only running between 100 - 500mhz with speed step off. Anyway, I guess I'll just keep searching for that program. |

I just found it, it's called speedswitch, seems to be working so far. |
