When you press "Print Screen SysRQ"

When you press this key it writes a screen shot to disk right? So what is the filename in win98se. Thank you all.

In 98, it's still print screen, but what it does is writes the bmp to the clipboard. after pressing print screen, simply start up MSPaint, and hit Edit -> Paste
save the image where you please!

Alt+PrintScreen results in captureing just the active window, rather then the whole screen

The screen shot is saved to the clipboard, you can see it by opening a graphics editing program and selecting the "paste" function.

Another option, if you want just the active window, is to press PrtScn while holding down Alt and Shift.

My favorite program for using this function is IrfanView, which is a freeware graphics utility that will work with any graphics format.

Also, you dont have to paste in MSPaint. You can paste into almost any programs that allow for images.
