help me hard disk drive will not show up ram detected.. but not detected....
well i have 1 gig of ram and it dosent show up in the system bios bnut does in everest also i put a new seagate 20 gig hard disk in and the bios seee it so does everest but i can not see it in my computer i have tried add new hardware it dosent work i have tried seting the 20 gig to master and fdisk formating it wont work i really need help my system specs are Field Value

Problem Disk free space is only 7% on drive C:.
do you see that? it shows the ram in everest and the hard drive but not in the bios well not the ram but the hard drive does show up in the bios and everest but not at my computer plz help me.Last edited by wera; October 22nd, 2005 at 02:46 AM.

i think it is the bios just so you guys know that when chrismas comes i may just get a new mobo.

i know this is an obvious question but some may ask the maxtor 31 gig (has a few bad sectors) is master case it has windows on it and the 20 gig seagate is slave.

try setting your seagate hardrive to CS (Cable Select)

an update here i did fix the ram problem it is working now still no luck with this cheap hard disk.
