Can a 250W PSU handle a Tbird 1.333?
System has two hard drives, a burner and a reg CD Rom.
Also has two fans.
I know 300W would work, but can I hurt anything if I try the 250W?

What video card do you have? If it's AGP 4X, you're asking for trouble. My 700 athlon with an AGP 2x was crashing with a 250 (Karpo) I switched to an Enermax 450, and crash no more!

It wont hurt to try.
I'd expect it not to work since you system is pretty loaded though.
Your just have either unstablity or a nice blank screen if you try to load it without enough power supplied.
BTW, this is assuming you have no sensitive data that can get ruined with the unstability part.
If you do, every time the computer crashes, you risk losing something |

If you haven't bought anything yet, definately go with a 300+ PSU

Depends on the PS IMO.
I have an AOpen 250W PS in a KF-45A case, and the reviews I've seen say it will put out more output than a lot of generic 300W PS's. Dunno why they say that, but I believe it!
In this instance brand power is important I think! | |

Yep .. give it a try .. a quality 250watts PSU should feed your system without problems ...
But when it comes to OCing then nothing is guaranteed ... but still possible ...

you'll also be limited to what accessories you can add on later... you start adding more things like an extra HD extra fans, a dvdrom plus a cd burner.... going downhill |

Thanks all...
The 250W is an old cheapo so I will bite the bullet and go for a 300W .
