How much voltage do you guys throw at your CPU?

Ok, I have been on a notebook for awhile and now just getting back to the desktop rig and OC'ing. I went with watercooling and so far it has been treating me well.

My question/concern is how much voltage is still decent enough to throw at the CPU to get the best possible OC.

My chip is a 3500+ Winny core. Right now I have it OC'd at...

238x11= 2.6GHz @ 1.4v * 104% = 1.456v

Basically, I think my chip can reach 2.8GHz but I can't remember what's still considered on the safe end of how far you can throw the juice into it.

To OC any cpu you first have to know if it is unlocked. The AMD64 3000+ with the right core
can swing out to about 2.8gb according to some at OC forums. Once you start pushing any
cpu there is no absolute "safe place" to be. One tip was to first backclock everything to low
denominators to gradually bring up memory timings, multiplier, and voltages to see where
the system would reach. That might entail bringing up one before the other.

You should check out the "Highest Stable Overclock Chart" in this section. A lot of users have their OCs listed along with their respective vcore.
