RDRAM question
I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with RDRAM 128MB/4 800-45 ECC. I want to to put in 512 more. All else being equal, what is the difference between 256MB/16 and 256MB/8?

RDRAM question
Thanks. I know it tells me whether I have 144Mb or 288Mb currently installed in my PC, but its not enough to tell me the implications of installing 256MB/16 versus 256MB/8. Its telling me mine has 288Mb currently installed, but what would happen, if anything, if I put in 256MB/16 instead of 256MB/8?

I know Dells are particular about RAM. I would go to the Dell site, find what they recommend for your system and buy RAM that matches those specifications.

or type cpu z in google d/load it run it and it should tell you about memory
If you can keep your head when all others around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.
