You'll find that many people will have different opinions, and here are my favs:
1)Mushkin
2)Corsair
3)OCZ
4)Kingston
5)Crucial
There are plenty of good RAM companies. Those are just my favs.
And Mushkins run at high voltages, so they might not be your best choice.
And you'll probably have RAM w/ better latencies at that speed too. What's your budget?Last edited by him61; July 18th, 2006 at 08:46 PM.

Ive been a Corsair fan or a long time. Never had any problems, i went from Crucial, which is also great memory to Corsair, no reason in particular. The nice thing also about Crucial is lifetime warantee on memory.
Mobile: Thinkpad T61 | WinXP Pro | C2D T8300 CPU | 3GB DDR2 | 320GB Hybrid SSD HDD | AGN & WWAN
Desktop: Dell XPS 8300 | 3.4 Ghz Intel i7 | 8GB DDR3 | 1TB OS, 1.5TB Mirrored DATA

I dont think manufactuer matters too much... Whatever matches the budget works. Corsair

Heatsinks and lifetime warranty are a plus.

the voltages dont depend on the company but on the chips the memory uses... Ive been using GeIL memory for a long time and it was great! Made a PC for my friend and used PDP Patriots and that was awesome as well! I myself am using G.Skills at the moment and its also good
for but OCing i say Muskin and OCZ are the tops and best quality overall

Ram is rever somthing to try and save money on , it is really important to your over clock . Like my ram is underclocked @ 260mhz , so i dont even have to worry about my ram when im trying to OC . Spend you money wise some memory chip work better with some MB's do rom research on what ram ppl are running on that board to get the best oc . Go on forums and ask ppl its the best way to learn
