That's what I'm hoping for also. I've been putting off ordering parts till tomm. Hopefully, some retailers have the cuts immediately. I don't think my friend will wait any longer...
And really hoping for the E6600 to be around $180 or so. May get one for him, and one for me..

Yeah, I noticed the $299 price at newegg... But why pay $299 when you can pay $266

Wait a few days and they should be lowered. Once they get the e6x50 processors in, the price should be down.

I would say to hold out just a little bit more. You waited this long already. Why not another week. You may save some serious cash..

Yea, haven't seen many price cuts around this part, well on NCIx if you score their email newsletter they have a sale until the 31st that brings everything down to like...40% of regular price on the CPU's, other then that I guess we'll have to wait!

I'd say wait atleast until it's Monday around the whole world before buying.

Dailytech reported that Newegg is already out of stock of the Q6600.
And the lowest price was on ZipZoomFly, for $275.
