    RAM speeds not working correctly

I am kind of new to these type of BIOS issues with speeds and I recently got this RAM:

    http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16820231098

    and this mobo:

    http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16813128050

The thing is my RAM is not running at the correct speeds and saying it's SINGLE channel. I checked with CPU-Z, both are running at 400MHz when both should be at 800MHz. Also both are at 1.8V

    Btw, I have a C2D E6750 2.66GHz (stock speed)

First, the D in DDR2 stands for double, which means that it does two processes in once cycle, so 400 = 800 effectively. Also, if your mobo is anything like mine (DS3), then the RAM needs to be in slots 1+3 for dual channel. I made the mistake of putting them in 1+2 which put it in single channel. The links are dead so not sure what you've got, but would give that a try.
