RAM and A8N-SLI
Hi Guys,
I have a standard Asus A8N-SLI with 1GB of Geil Value 3200..Works Great.
I'd like to upgrade to 2GB but this ram is very hard to source and expensive.
I can get Geil Ultra DDR2 2.0GB PC6400 Dual Channel memory kit (2 x 1GB) 800MHz (4-4-4-12) for £34.
Will this work in my A8N-SLI? If not do you guys have any recommendations?
Thanks

this wont work as the A8n-SLi only supports DDR RAM, the RAM you are talking about is DDR2.

ah i see thanks. why is DDR so much more expensive than DD2? I'm looking at about £30-£40 for 1gb of geil value 3200 ddr. As cheap to get a new motherboard and the geil ddr2.

its more expensive to make. plus, the demand for it is much much lower than DDR2 since its an older standard of ram. thats about it

This is certainly not a film for the easily-offended. Some may brand it puerile and self-indulgent and let them do so. This is razor-sharp comedy filled with cutting one-liners and some brilliant...
