I don't know how many of you guys have been waiting for the 45nm cores to come out, especially in the Core 2 line, but they're here.
ZipZoom has them in stock for $229!
The Specs:
FSB: 1333Mhz
Frequency: 3.0Ghz
45nm core
6 MB L2 LINKY
Just thought I'd pass the word!

Yeah I read that on another forum, but I don't have a micro-center anywhere around me. And I know alot of people like ZZF. So that why I posted there. If you want, give me the link and I'll post it in the original thread. |

HOLY FLIPPIN SH*T!!!
Its cheaper than the E6850, same clocks, but smaller core & an extra 2MB cache
Damn... Now I wish I had upgraded to a P35 or X38 board, instead of my 650i board...
well, I know what part of my Income tax return this year will be used for (new Mobo & CPU, along with new vid card..., unless I get my $600 bucks that I'm owed from someone sooner, then that'll be used for all 3 )
I was thinking Quad core, but for that price, I might just stick with Duals, for another year...

Newegg is asleep at the wheel apparently, they don't have any of these listed that I could see.

Most place don't have them listed yet. I checked Egg lastnight, along with Tiger, Clubit, and even Tankguys. I couldn't find them anywhere else other then ZZF.
And I'm not completely sure, but I know the 680i has support, (with a bios update) for the 45nm cores. I'm really surprised to hear that a 650i won't support it... |

What I don't understand. Is it just came in stock on Newegg today. How the hell do people have them so quick, and post OC reviews even on them? |
