RAM
I have a Sony Vaio, PCV-RX860. Running XP-Home. Currently have 512mb
DDR-266(PC2100) RAM. Looking at installing 2 more 512mb DDR-266
(PC2100)s. Would there any advantage to going to the PC2700 version??

If you are planning on leaving your current PC2100 in the system and then adding the new memory to it, you would be better off matching it with more PC2100. If you were to install PC2700 along with the PC2100, your system will down clock the faster memory to match the slower memory's speed.
