| Can't seem to get correct settings...
I've had issues with this build since I first built this machine. I had built it with the guidance from the members from DFI Street, but then it went down a month or 2 after I built this machine, so I kind of just backed off from it until I had patience to mess with it again (not that I have much patience to begin with).
I'm always having jitters and freezes. Anything that isn't WOW pretty much turns off my computer (Half Life, Crysis, etc). WOW has the issue of being 50+FPS, but from time to time drops down to single digit FPS.
I can't seem to find the option to change from single channel to dual channel. I can't run at full DDR400 speed otherwise I get either looping reboot or some sort of error upon windows load that won't allow me to do anything.

First thing that comes to mind is either drivers or cooling, double check to make sure you have the newest drivers and check your temps. Also make sure you have all your power connections made.
As for the ram, make sure you have the sticks in the correct slots. Its either 1&3 or 2&4. You say it can't reach full ddr 400 speeds what do they cap out at? Are you running stock settings? Have you tried up'ing the voltage or adjusting the timings any at all?

do you have Ai Booster install ?
you can change BIOS settings on the desktop with this software [ a few ]
click on the tool wrench to bring the panel up
up the voltage a little ,not recommended to go past 2.2 volts
on the memory |

I've always had issues with attempting to update drivers after an initial build, not going to update drivers unless I'm reformatting altogether. Last time I reformatted I got more issues than problems solved. Reformatted back in November or December, was after I got 2/3 into Crysis then lag made it unplayable.
My temps used to be 100+F, I put it in front of the AC n got it temps to 80ish 90ish. Going to get a fan to drop in front of it before it gets too much into summer.
All connections are fine, checked it all out a few weeks ago when I went through n dusted it out.
Tops out at DDR360.
I have them in slots 2 & 4. Slot 3 seems like it's fried and if I try to boot up with a stick in that slot it's like theres no ram in the board at all. Was going to drop sticks in all 4 slots when I built it, but yea that 3rd ram slot...
I tried recommended settings for the sticks from the site. Had to make a few changes otherwise memtest errord like crazy, but still couldn't get it to 400.
After any hardware changes I usually reset BIOS, select recommended default settings (or something along those lines) then make the few specific settings I know for sure.
Haven't ran memtest in months, but just did for nearly 10hrs, no errors..
I didn't think about upping the voltage since it's one of the plethoria of settings I'm not intimate with but I'll give it a try.

on the memory | I'm using a DFI board, not Asus. I used Rivatuner to set both gfx fans to 100%.
Voltage the board defaulted to was 2.6.
Looking at the OCZ site I'm assuming it's saying recomended settings are either 2.6, or 2.8? (I want to think V.1x/V.2x is either saying version or how many sticks ehh??) I brought it up to 2.8, Windows was able to load but programs crashed before they loaded.
