CPU HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i just bought a new intel celeron D processor and it in my presario, it booted up fine until i realized i didnt attatch my mouse and keyboard to the computer, so i had to reboot, ( i also installed more ram as well) upon rebooting i ran into a problem, the fans turned on, but no green powerbutton was coming on, only the orange thinking button which stayed lit, it doesnt flciker or anything, it just stays lit... somebody help...
