Hello guys, i want to know what is best for OC my q9450 CPU....if DDR2 800mhz or DDR2 1066mhz.....i dont really know much about OC, but i will like to someone explain me how it really work. plz right there is my PC BUILD:

as far a 800 vs 1066 goes, you can adjust the memory multiplier to fit almost any RAM speed at the frequencies you will see, so it does not really matter. I personally have not seen much performance difference between 1066 and 800, so you should not be dissapointed with whatever set you choose, and 8 GB is a little overkill IMO. I hope you're using a 64-bit OS. |
