My hopes is for them to be making a direct competition with Intel's high end core 2 quads or a little better.

looking over the specs of the core i7, if you took the names away, they would be very hard to tell them apart on paper. |

We know the story there. I'd love for AMD to be abel to pull of an upset, I just don't see that happening.
