Im still in the mindset that the Phenom II will hold a very viable and impressive solution for the gaming niche.

Eh, maybe, Phenom II will keep those that are loyal to AMD happy but again, i don't think it'll be any faster if not as fast as the i7, even in gaming.
I'm just saying I mainly use my computer to play games and the i7 is a beast. from what i see it'll be hard for anything to beat its performance. Turbo boost helps alot.

RAM: 3gigs OCZ DDR3-1600mhz

Maybe it'll be almost as fast as Intel, but that'll probably be over when Intel releases their new cores again, but I'm upgrading to Phenom II anyways.
Has nice overclocking potential and room to play with, and really, would you seriously see a difference between a 4Ghz Phenom II and a 4.xGhz Intel??
Ok, the intel will be faster in benches probably, but in real life world, would those small things really make THAT big a difference??

i dont think there would be very much if any real world difference you would see when you hit 80+ FPS and wouldnt matter anyways. |
