Hey guys I’m planning on upgrading my ram from 4gb to 8gb but before I bought the ram I though I’d ask your advice.

I’ve got a Q6600 oc’d to 3Ghz, could the extra ram affect the overclock? I’m also slightly concerned about the extra strain that I would put on my NB as its already running at around 27c but I’m not sure if that ok for a nb.

I currently have 2x2gb of this Ram

So I was planning just to buy another 2x2gb’s however I spotted this ram for a much cheaper price.

Its basically the same Ram just with out the heatsink on the top, I don’t really overlclock my Ram and my case has good air flow so do you think I’d be able to get away with the cheaper stuff?

Anyway here are my specs
Q6600 3.0ghz
Abit Ip35 mobo
Corsair HX 620 psu

Anyone’s thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
