Now, you should really be looking at the restrictions of Virtual PC because THAT is where your problem is. If your Bios and real install of Vista are registering 4gb but your Virtual PC install of something isnt, then you probably are not running a 64bit OS in Virtual PC. You really need to check what OS you are running virtually before you start flashing or updating things without needing those updates.
