RAM NOT SEEN
Hi
I have Dell Latitude D600 laptop with 500 MB of RAM, installed.
In past few days I noticed laptop beening very slow.
In Control Panel , under System I checked Computer profile and noticed
that only 256 MB of RAM is shown, before was 500 MB shown.
I pulled both RAM memory cards out and in few times (each is 250 MB RAM) but
it did not help.
1) how can I make computer to see both cards (both 250M RAM) ?
2) how can I check if one of them is not damaged ?
3) any other suggestions ?
OS is Windows XP version 2002, service pack 3.
Thank you for help,
Januszon

you could check that one isnt danaged by putting 1 in and booting it up. then take it out and put the other one in and boot it up again.
