Huh. Now at 333 (3.17 ghz) with my ram timings loosened and max vcore Im not prime stable! I was before!  I guess Ill have to go to 3ghz and call it good. Im going to wait til next month when I have more money to spend to get a better mb. Thanks. |

can you set your ram to run at a slower speed?

There are a lot of timings that I have no idea what they are so I just loosened cas latency, tras, and trc. There are a couple that I think are the RAS to CAS and RAS to precharge but they are different names and I loosened those. Its going ok right now. |

I guess my voltage was set back to default. With everything loosened and vcore at max I made it almost 14 hours at 1333mhz. Is that good? |

Hey,
If you have lowered your RAM to 667, it is being overclocked once the FSB passes ~320MHz. Lower the RAM to 533 and it will be running 1:1 with the FSB. Once the RAM is underclocked you can see if the CPU can reach a higher speed.
If you're not using it already, download CPU-z & look at the Memory tab. It will tell you the RAM's base frequency, cpu:ram ratio and the actual timings.
