WHat kinda bolts are used on the PAL 8045?

I've got an Alpha Pal 8045 and I think the plastic bolts threads are striipped a little cuse its not holding the temp low at all.. when I first got it and put it on, my temps were in the mid to high 20c now they are back to 40c. I've got a 1Ghz AXIA T-Bird that used to run perfectly stable at 1.4 and hold 30c temps..

Any one know what kinda screws I should get to replace these ones? (could I use metal ones and some plastic washers to keep it from causing a short or somthing?)

If you are in the northern hemisphere, chances are it gets warmer due to summer approaching so your temperatures are going to be higher.

Before you do anything, you could also check if the bolts are loosen, as they do from vibration and heat cycles (expansion-contraction).

I'm in Missouri, its been like this since about january... I've resitated the heat sink three times I belive, and used a thin layer of ASII I've tried the fan blowing and sucking with and without the shroud, I've got a 120mm Fan in front bottom of case and an 80mm fan in the back of the case. Case is a Fong Kai from newegg. Should I maybe just setup water cooling?

Where can we see a detail of the mechanism you're talking about? And could you please explain the term 'resitated'. Sounds dangerous. Perhaps you've done that once too often and damaged something. Notwithstanding the prolems with the CPU contact it sounds to me that you have more than sufficient auxillary cooling which should be taking up the slack. And how can you be certain the sensor and the software program are reporting properly?

That was supposed to be reseated ^_^;
The sensors havent been wrong before, its an abit KG7-RAID board. Its just a basic screw and bolt using a spring to keep pressure on it or somthing.
