Buying Ram

I currently only have 1G of RAM on my desktop, im looking for another stick to upgrade it to 2G. I dont know what i should get

Motherboard: Acer E946GZ or 946GZT-AM V.1.0

My current RAM is DDR2 single channel PC2-5300 (333MHz) 240-Pin, unbuffered. but i went to a store giving this info, he told me that only DDR has 333MHz, and my computer isn't DDR2 compatible, and another guy said it might be clocked down to 333MHz to fit the system, i just wanan make sure i get the right one...

What brand is the installed memory?

You can always take the current memory out and get 2 of these.
Newegg.com - Crucial 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Desktop Memory Model CT12864AA667 - Desktop Memory $12.99 each, free shipping

or

Get one of these. This is (2) 1Gb sticks of memory.
Newegg.com - Crucial 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model CT2KIT12864AA667 - Desktop Memory $24.99 free shipping. This one would be $1. less than order (2) off my previous link.
