Hi,
I recently had to restore factory settings to my 2006 Compaq Presario C300. My computer wouldn't boot up and would continue to say that a system32 file was corrupted. I didn't have back up disk, so I had to restore to factory settings. All of my music, pictures, documents, and movies were deleted--over 35gb out of 47gb capacity. I'm currently trying to start over and download music, but have only been able to download approximately 1gb. My computer has mentioned it has only 1% disk space left. Since I haven't been able to recover any files, wouldn't the restore factory settings have completely wiped my hard drive? Could anybody give me a reason why the computer would still have only 1% diskspace when it was completely wiped out? Or if there was any way to recover my previous files? Thanks in advance!
