I really would like to put together a web page to get my original music out there. But I have NO IDEA where/how/what to start? Can anyone lead me in the right direction. I have some songs on a sight called garageband.com. But I would like it to be my own creation. So any thoughts, comments, would be really apperciated.
1. Get web address, webspace (your ISP, geocities, but you may need something more serious as you're serving mp3s so will need a fair amount of bandwidth and storage space)
2. Create site (using Notepad, HTML-Kit, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, but NOT FrontPage)
3. Upload site and mp3s
4. Tell us about it!
Um . . . I don't know if you are a programmer or not, but you can use something like Word to write an html script (if you know how) and then, after your page is finished but not on the web yet, you can start to shop around for something cheap or free that will simply let you upload your own page. This saves the time of having to learn different web site building programs that places like Homestead use.
