| What DDR2 RAM should I get ?
Im looking to spend around £40 on some DDR2 RAM for a new build, which will include a AMD 245 CPU and a ASUS M4A78-VM motherboard, which I plan on using for work and watching movies in full HD. Should I get one of these: Crucial Ballistix Corsair XMS2
Or does anyone have any other recommendations.

either will be fine.... I've used the XMS2's before can't comment on the 'ballistix'

Ballastix are great for about 3-4 months, then they die apparently. IDK if they've fixed this lately, but I would probably go for the XMS's. | |

I have at least 3 sets here that refuse to stay stable. One was mine, one was Engracio's, and one another friend of mine.
I think it was a bad batch honestly, but I haven't gotten any since we all got bad sticks..
(should also mention I've RMA'd my set now 2 times, and the sets I got back ended up doing the same thing)  | |
