So im tired of my memory giving me problems and ive decided to upgrade it. Ive got 2 sticks of Corsair Dominator 2GB DDR2 1066. Today was the second time my computer wouldnt boot because I was getting memory related error messages on my handy dandy error mobo display. So after swapping my memory around back and forth it finally decided to work. I have an nvidia 780i running vista 32 bit and im looking for ideas for some quality RAM to go with next. Thanks. |

Corsair Dominator is actually pretty good ram, what do the error messages say? Have you ran memtest or anything else to check that its actually bad ram, tried each stick individually, adjust voltages or anything like that?

I agree with Richee, why trash good RAM that has a lifetime warranty? Do a little testing (click Free Download), if it turns out bad, get an RMA. If it tests good ask RAM_GUY to help set it up properly in your system.
It is performance RAM and should be manually set to spec, setting primary timings, FSB:RAM Ratio (Linked or unLinked), and voltage.
