    Post switching ram memory

     
    i have a IBM thinkpad-T30 and its has a
    • mobile intel pentium 4 -m cpu 2.00ghz
    • 256mb ram
    • ATI mobility radeon 7500
    • runs on ms widows xp professional sp3
    i am wondering if i am able to switch my 256mb ram to a 1gb ram without any upgrading of any kind. if there is what do i need to do to make it work?

    The laptop will take two sticks of 512MB making 1gb total.....
