    CPU Upgrade for Gateway LX6810?

     
    Anyone have any advice on upgrading the Intel Core2Quad Q8200 on my LX6810? Can I go bigger?

    Probably, the 8200 was one of the lowest Core 2 Quads on the Market, so would make sense to be able to go higher, since the system obviously handles Quad cores.

    Question is, Do you really need it, and will it be worth the upgrade, in cost versus Performance.
