sudden memory conflict
My computer runs 24/7 when I hit the space bar a couple of days ago to wake it up, it came up in a very basic mode with the error message that not enought resources were available to access my profile settings. I could either abort, cancel or continue. I cancelled.
I'm running 2 Kingston 512's and have for years for 1 gig of ram. Upon investigation either chip will operate the computer normally but only slower in either slot. They will not function together. I bought a third chip Kingston, KVR333x64c25/512 2.5v I will not operate alone ineither slot nor in combo with either of the other 2 chips.
Do you have any thoughts as to what has happened. My Bios is dated 2002
OS is XP Professional.
Thanks Bullwinkle430
