Upgrade to a Quad Core from C2D?
Hi there; long time since I posted here, I hope you can help.
Like many, I came up against CPU ceiling with the new Call of Duty game, and it made me think about upgrades for my previously bulletproof system.
I am considering a very limited upgrade of my system, to stretch the machine a little bit more. I want to either change as little as possible, or save for a full upgrade. What would you do?
I now have:
Core 2 Duo E6750 processor
4GB (Fast) DDR2
Asus P5Q Turbo S775 motherboard (rock solid and woefully underused)
Sapphire Vapor X ATI Radeon 4870 1GB video cardLast edited by hugorudd; November 17th, 2010 at 04:30 AM. Reason: Title was useless
