    Maximum Temperature for an AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor?

     
    Just wondering as it got into the mid fifties whilst gaming and other tech sites answers seem to vary wildly.

    Mid 50's is pretty good... (depending on ambient temps and cooler). You should not really worry about it until it gets 65C+.

    Ah thats a relief. The highest it got to was 63C, but that was only with the heatsink fan and a single chassis fan running. Since I found the correct adaptor and got the other two chassis fans running, its settled down to mind to high 50's when gaming and mid to high 30's when idling
