Plane old SDRAM is 4 generation old.
Newer is almost always better, and plane old SDRAM is over 10 years old.

    SDRAM is 66, 100, and 133 MHz
DDR which is still SDRAM but double data, starts with 200MHz and goes to 400
    Then came DDR2
Then DDR3 which is some where above 1000MHz now.

    Why are you asking?
If we knew what this was for, we could tell you the merits of different options in relationship to your issue.
Your obviously using the term "best" incorrectly.
If your choosing a platform according to the type of memory, your making a mistake.
If not, then you are limited to whatever platform your motherboard uses

    Did you read my reply?????

How could 400Mhz Possibly be better than 2000MHZ.

If you are asking why plane SDR costs more, it is because, it is not made any more.
The law of supply, and demand.

    Tell someone, he is ridiculous!

Your just full of useless advice...
So far all three of your posts are driveby oneliners with little thought...
I can only assume your setting up for spam?
If not, please don't comment on things you obviously know nothing about.
If you have useful knowledge by all means contribute, but making a blanket statement like that is useless.
