    Yes.

It should give the results for each Bank or Slot of memory, if you had some errors or something wrong with one of the sticks, you'd just need to match up the slots on the board with the slots it mentions in the test.

I wasn't aware that it was possible to void a warranty just by testing or removing/replacing RAM.......even on a lappy...
I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...

If it's still under warranty I would personally just call the manufacuterer. If opening up the "door" to add RAM to a lappy is going to void your warranty what are you going to do if/when memtest tells you there's a problem? I don't see any actionable data coming out of this.

I ran memtest for 5 passes with no errors but I've since fixed the problem I was having. I have one of those nvidia optimus hybrid GPU laptops that switch from intel to nvidia when needed and I was experiencing lines going up and down the screen when the laptop awoke from sleep. Turns out I had the newest nvidia drivers but old intel drivers from july of last year. Updating those drivers corrected the problem. Talk about headaches though, If anyone's getting a laptop I recommend staying away from optimus until it's matured.

Glad to hear you've got it sorted...hopefully, with you having posted the resolution here, anyone else who has the same issue will be able to see it too...!
