My sister has a old Celeron 600 laptop
and she wants me to see if i can upgrade it.
i have installed another 128mb ram for a total of 196 and a 10Gb hardrive (she only had 6before)
When i opened the computer i noticed that it has a strange looking socket for the Cpu it's called uPGA i think it's possible to remove the celeron and install either a 800mhz uPGA Celeron that i can get from a friend for $80 or would it be possible to install a mobile P3 ??
here are some links about the lappy it's a ?? Compal ??
http://www.hyundaitrade.com/Computer/notebook/6.html this link says something about a uPGA2 socket
but the celeron is only uPGA so does that mean it's a uPGA2 but that uPGA cpu's will work? just like PPGA works in FCPGA ?
