    Red face Acer CPU Upgrade

     
    I basically have the same specs on my Acer, except my CPU is a E2180, I have a Geforce GT430 and a Auzentech sound card. I wanted to upgrade a to a E8500 or a Q8200 since they are less than $40, would this be compatible?

    I moved your post to your own thread as you'll be better off with your own thread. You'll want to post the exact specs on your own system. Model number and as much detail as possible. I can say right off if you have a similar board to the original poster from the other thread neither of those chips are supported and wow $40 for either is a steal!!
