Have you searched google? Most dont recommend doing it because you are already working in a small enclosed device and are gonna be creating more heat.

I've never seen one that could be.

But all you have to do is look in your BIOS, and see if it has any overclocking settings.
Can you change the bus speed, or set the clock, as well as dose it have memory settings?

It all depends on the BIOS, and laptops usually have a very simple one, without the overclocking setting.
In fact, most brand name desktops, have little or no settings for overclocking.

Those setting are usually only found on aftermarket boards.

Also, your CPU dose not have clock setting capibility,

    I was thinking that too.
How can you overclock, without getting better cooling?

Unless you have a gaming laptop specifically designed with overclocking in mind (Alienware, for example) it's best to just leave it be.

Exactly - if anything underclocking is more popular on laptops for this reason, as well as the increased battery life.

Have you noted how loud or fast your fans already run? This gives you an indecication of how much headroom you have to overheat.

Most people who overclock know there is some risk involved and they have accepted the risk. But laptops are difficult and more expensive to fix and sometimes require special tools. Overheating falls more harshly on a laptop.

Excepting gaming laptop computers and workstation laptop computers, both which are expensive, and some desktop replacements, most laptops are expected to perform mobile tasks, often with narrower demands, which raises the question--except as a theoretical issue--why would you want to?

    Which leads me to>>
