Amd XP 1900+ Question.
I booted my system and its reading the processor at 1200mhz arent these 1.6mhz procs.

Change the jumper from 100MHz FSB (default in a new MoBo) to 133MHz FSB, to enjoy the full power of your CPU ..
If there is no jumper then it should be a BIOS setting or something similar..

What is your MoBo?

Initial boot may require you to reset things in the bios---go there asap...
And reset...

I believer Mr. Fingers has the Soyo Dragon Ultra KT333 chipset. With his Antec Truepower 550watt p/s from Newegg I'm loving my 550 watt p/s

Yes, yes Mr. PH2 it is indeed it has taken me about 5 days preparation time to get this far but so far no major hitches on to the OS installation.
