Athlon T-Bird...MP capable?

I found this to be a little strange. I didn't think these CPU's could do SMP.

1.2GHz Mobile AMD Athlon

I've got it OC'd right now @ 1.4GHz (had to back it down from 1.5 because of instability).

I used WCPUID's "Extended Feature Flags" and saw that it was MP capable.

Is this new, or have I not been paying attention?

Wow, that is very odd, I think its probably just a glitch with wcpuid. I can't see it actually supporting mp!

Actually, I am pretty darned sure that not only did the Athlon T-bird support multiprocessing (actually 100% sure), but so did the pre morgan durons. I can remember several websites, among which they compared the performance of dual duron (spitfire core), thunderbird, and athlonMP processors.

So yep, 'tis

I can confirm that the Durons were MP, and I believe the T-birds were too.
