| Dual P4 (not XEON)... exist? no?
Hey all, I am getting sick and tired of my dual MP 1800s, the lack of a auto shutoff when overheating is pissing me off. I can't even change my CPU fan without risking the thing going bye bye. I have lost 2 CPUs to this. Bad luck.....
Do Intel dual P4's exist? not the super expensive Xeons, but like how the P3's were like. Will they exist?
THanks!

YES!!
they do excist, but they are pretty pricy, a lot more then the dual AMD setup.
The boards are the real killers, and having to get 2 not too cheap P4's cut into yer wallet pretty bad too.

I think Dell offers servers with the P4 (not Xeon).
So I guess they do exist.!

I wouldn't mind a dual P4 or even better a XEON
but i would think that the motherboard alone would cost more than a dual AMD MP mobo and CPUs |

That would run Quake3 pretty nicely LOL
Actually I think Quake3 can run on dual cpu's, but I'm not sure about 8. |
