How do I go about overclocking my p4 1.5gig on a p4b asus motherboard when I change the freq 133 my postspeech report says cpu overclock system halted. help please how does once overclock a p4

As for your prob it sounds like your board is actually stopping you from overclocking it. I haven't used that board, but perhaps their is a setting in the BIOS to remove the safety locks? I'll do some homework. Just a sec.

It looks like your board is a very OC friendly board! Is it every speed about the the defualt speed that you get the errors?

I used a couple of similar m/b's awhile back (P4T533) if I remember correctly you just need to select "user define"---dont ya love that cryptic m/b voice that says NO GO!? If you wind it out too far you will need the devisor to make everything happy---your best bet is to read the manual---its got everything you need to know right inside from my experience....
