I loved my old 500 classic and just sold a 300a mylasia celery chip, some of them could go to 550 and 575 and all from a 66 chip
never did get to 1000 with the 500, most I got from it was 985 for about 10 mins but the 950 was stable for a few months...the good ole days  |

hmm, i might try something less ambitious...like taking a classic 600 to 1GHz but still sounds fun nonetheless.
it'd be cool to make a "1999" system using what would be top notch in 1999
i'd like that. |

I was striving to be the first to hit 1000 at sysopt, had more into my chip and cooling and memory that what you can build a whole system for now days but I was the first, short lived but fun at the time |

i'm on a 1600+ on a K7S5A at the moment, i managed to get to 1900+ levels using a 150MHz FSB but... this board isnt up to the job  |
